DragonRelay Client is a online networking tunnel server that allows others to join servers from other computers hosting game tunnels such as Minecraft, Terraria, Starbound, Valheim, Garry's Mod and yes even Sonic Robo Blast 2 but you can even host non game applications like Mumble for instance. DragonRelay Client has two types of tutorial (command line and a web interface) so before we begin [Click Here] to download the client onto your computer, where ever you saved it go into your file explorer on windows or linux, navigate to the folder where you saved the file to, after that you right click on the zip file, click on extract or if you use 7zip just hover over 7-Zip on the submenu and click on Extract File. Done now the folder should be label as "DragonRelay Client" unless you extracted it to the directory where the zip file was located at. Now we shall begin...

Command Line Tutorial

Using a command line can be easy and simple as pie just hit Ctrl+R if your using windows or if on linux hit Ctrl+T to bring up a terminal. Depending on what you use but if you use Windows then you can type this into your command prompt if you plan on hosting "DragonRelay Client --hosting" which will ask for your login from when you registered your account onto the website. After you have successfully logged on to the server you can head over to the [Web Interface] which allows you to manage tunnels from within the client or if your just planning to join someone's tunnel you can either use "DragonRelay Client --publiclist" to display a huge list of public tunnels for you to join or if you already have a tunnel id that you wish to join then you may type in "DragonRelay Client --join [tunnel id] --tpass [tunnel password if required]" and if your on a linux machine you'd do the same step but add DragonRelay Client-linux or if on a mac machine you'd also do the same DragonRelay Client-macos at the beginning before any of the parameters such as "--hosting, --publiclist or --join"

(Steps version)

  1. Hit Ctrl+R on your keyboard if on windows, type in cmd, then cd into the directory of the folder you extracted and type in "DragonRelay Client --hosting" or if on another operating system "DragonRelay Client-linux or DragonRelay Client-macos".
  2. Once connected login to your account that you created from this website.
  3. Afterwords setup your tunnels by heading over to your web browser and type in 127.0.0.1:8080 on your url address bar on top.
  4. Or if joining someone's tunnel you won't need the web interface if you type in "DragonRelay Client --join [tunnel id] --tpass [tunnel password if required]" or if on linux or macos "DragonRelay Client-linux --join [tunnel id] --tpass [tunnel password] or DragonRelay Client-macos --join [tunnel id] --tpass [tunnel password]" and hit enter.
Web Interface Tutorial

If your just wanting to run the client without inputting a command line or a terminal then all you need to do is double click on the executable file depending on what operating system you use, login to your account that you registered on the website and finally visit [Web Interface] to either manage tunnels or search for a tunnel to join.

(Steps version)

  1. Just run the client, login and head over to your web browser to type in 127.0.0.1:8080 in your address bar which is at the top of your browser.
  2. If hosting multiple tunnels then you'll probably need to delete the default tunnels that were setup for you and click on "Edit Tunnels". Here's how it should look like if you need a presentation.
  3. Then once your done just hit the submit button and it will bring you back to the same page you were just at so to see it just click on "Main" link.
  4. If your just joining someone's tunnel then at the main page of the web interface you can either type in the tunnel id and password through the text input fields then click on "Connect to tunnel..." button or click on "Search for tunnels" link, a list of tunnels will display but if none show up after clicking on the link then refresh the page by clicking on the circle arrow button at the top left of your address bar or press F5 on your keyboard if you can't find it, once you found a tunnel that's available to you just click on "Connect to Tunnel" but not the "Connect to tunnel..." button at the top otherwise you'll just fail to connect but once you click on that other button it'll refresh upon successfull connection.

See? I told you it'd be that simple, if you want pictures for these tutorials then we'll release them as soon as we can and ensure that the text aren't going to be complicated. Each one will be for every operating system including Windows, Linux and Android (can't do pictures for a Mac operating system because I don't have one).
